Music and Artificial Intelligence

Music and Artificial Intelligence

When talking about songs, I will think about lyrics and music. lyrics is an essential part of any song, and music will be added to it to make it viable, to bold express the meaning of the song we try to say.

Suppose we want to write an album of songs about the spring season just within a week, but we are out of ideas on how to write the songs about this topic. What can we do? I can suggest some ways to get strong ideas to write an album for a short time:

1.      Using dictionary. This is a huge resource for supporting the song writing process. It has multiple words; you can choose one of them. Then when you have a word you like, you can make sentences based on that word, then develop paragraphs on those sentences that you created. Finally, edit your paragraphs by choosing which sentences will become a chorus and verses. Eventually you have completed lyrics.

2.      If dictionary is not good source or we have already used it, then where to find other clues or ideas to write songs. Today, we are talking much about AI generation lyric for us based on our prompts. But one thing to keep in mind that, those AI generated songs cannot be copyright, even it is “cool” as we recognized. So, what can we do, we only use AI to give us ideas or clues to continue to write our songs in our words.

3.      The last one is finding ideas based on what we see and hear every day when the season comes. For example, today I go for a walk in the morning, and I hear the bird chirping on the thorn bushes. Ah! I have an idea to write about what I have just seen. However, I want to write an album, so what do I do? I go to a local library, borrow a wild -birds book and read about this and this one gives me the sense of understanding what I am going to do in my album project.

Tomorrow, I will show you ways to add music to your songs, even you do not know how to play any musical instruments.
